A Note From The Principal
Aloha everyone! We are off and going on another fabulous year at Kihei Elementary School! Thank you for sharing your children with us. We appreciate them as much as you do!
September and October are very busy months. Please refer to the upcoming events section of this newsletter for detailed information. We encourage all of our families to participate as much as possible in our academic and social events. Your interest in school promotes students’ interest in school. Many thanks to our staff and the PTA for working hard to bring these events to life!
If you are interested in becoming more involved with your child’s school after work hours, we encourage you to join our School Community Council (SCC). Please call the school office for more information.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place October 23 – 27. Please sign up for a meeting time using the form which will be sent home soon. These meetings are very, very important. Partnering with your child’s teacher is one of the best ways to ensure your child’s academic success.
Finally, our second quarter Principal’s Teas will be held on November 16 at 8:00 am and on November 7 at 4:30 pm. I look forward to seeing you and sharing our school’s progress.
With Much Aloha,
TA Sue Forbes
